Repertoire: prepare at least two selections, including one two-mallet solo or etude and one drum selection on snare, timpani, or drumset; a four-mallet solo is optional; prepare sight-reading on concert snare and mallet percussion

Audition Process

No audition is required for admission to Blinn or the Music degree

Choose an on-campus, live Zoom, or recorded scholarship audition

Recorded auditions use an unlisted YouTube link emailed to music@blinn.edu

For a recorded audition, a band director or private instructor must proctor the supplied sight-reading and place it in front of you for the first time on camera
