Application Logistics

•Apply to Blackburn College before submitting the Music Audition Form.

•Select BA Music Performance and Piano as the primary instrument on the form.

Transfer Pathway

BA Music transfer applicants may bring up to 92 semester hours after individual transcript review, allowing substantial advanced standing; the final 30 semester hours must be completed at Blackburn. The entrance audition and later upper-level gate jury still apply.

Audition Process

•Choose an in-person audition at Blackburn College or an online audition by Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype.

•Every audition includes a short tonal-memory exercise that requires no advance preparation.

Audition Expectations
