Repertoire
•Bullet: Audition on your principal instrument or voice using that area’s standard repertoire (same requirements as the BM Music Performance audition):
•Bullet: Brass/winds: two contrasting pieces from the standard solo literature (one lyrical, one technical)
•Bullet: Piano: choose and memorize three of — a Baroque, a Romantic, an Impressionistic/Contemporary composition, or a Haydn/Mozart/Beethoven sonata-allegro movement
•Bullet: Organ: one each of a Baroque, Romantic, and Contemporary composition (up to two may be played on piano)
•Bullet: Strings/guitar/harp/percussion: standard area repertoire for the instrument
•Bullet: Voice: two contrasting classical art songs (one may be an aria) in any language, memorized
Sight-Reading
•Bullet: Sight-reading, scales, and arpeggios may be requested depending on the instrument
Resume
•Bullet: Performance resume listing training and experience
Accompaniment
•Bullet: An accompanist is provided for vocalists
