•Bullet: Brass, woodwind, and percussion BME majors audition and study on their principal instrument, then complete Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, String, and Vocal Methods so graduates can teach across every PK–12 ensemble
•Bullet: Instrumental and Choral Conducting, Orchestration/Arranging, and Elementary and Secondary Music Methods pair with the School of Education's professional core and supervised elementary and secondary student teaching
•Bullet: Director of Bands Dr. Tom Davoren conducts the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Brass Band, and Percussion Ensemble, drawing on a UK conducting background that includes winning the 2014 National Brass Band Championship with the Filton band
•Bullet: Dr. Christopher Greco, a multi-instrumentalist on clarinet, flute, saxophone, and oboe, teaches studio applied woodwinds, orchestration, and chamber ensembles; flutist Christina Webster holds the Second Flute chair of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and performs as Principal Flute of the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra
