Training
•Eight semesters of coursework plus a six-month internship; graduates are eligible to sit for the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) exam for the MT-BC credential
•A board-certified Clinical Practicum Supervisor oversees undergraduate practicum placements in assisted living, addiction treatment, at-risk adolescent programs, and developmental-disability settings
•Students choose a classical or commercial instrument track alongside clinical coursework grounded in cognitive-behavioral orientation
