Training
•Bullet: Courses for students pursuing work in theatre, musical theatre, and film or television, grounded in contemporary acting approaches, historical styles, voice, movement, role analysis, and scene study.
•Bullet: The BA requires a minimum of 36 credits and combines the shared Theatre core with Acting specialization courses including Improvisation, Voice & Movement, Acting II: Role Analysis, Acting III: Scene Study, and Script Analysis.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students work in mainstage and laboratory theatre environments, with student-led projects and professional-level productions in the historic Broad Theater and Pelican Black Box Theater.
•Bullet: The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning through acting, improvisation, on-camera techniques, and one-person show creation.
Location
•Bullet: Barry's Miami Shores campus places students in the South Florida arts community and gives students access to campus productions, studios, and the outdoor amphitheater.
