•Weekly private lessons with brass faculty including Demian Austin (principal trombone, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra), Edward Carroll (former principal trumpet, Rotterdam Philharmonic), and Derek Fenstermacher (principal tuba, New Jersey Symphony)
•Five-year curriculum requires a minimum of 160 credits across the double degree
Performance & Productions
•Required participation in the Bard Conservatory Orchestra (led by Leon Botstein), performing at least twice per semester at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts with international tours to Asia and Europe
•Nine semesters of chamber music plus third-year Midpoint Recital and fifth-year Degree Recital
