Admission Process
•Submit a composition portfolio and prescreening materials through the Conservatory Composition Application portal
•Portfolio is reviewed by the composition faculty
•Prescreening notifications emailed to all applicants in mid-January
Interview & Final Review
•Invited applicants complete a final interview/review at Bard College
•Held at the end of February through early March
•By invitation only following the prescreening portfolio review
Decisions
•January 1: Application and all materials due
•Mid-January: Prescreening notifications
•End of February/early March: Final reviews at Bard
•Mid-March: Final admissions decisions and financial aid packages released
•May 1: Enrollment deadline
