Training
•Bullet: The 15-credit Music minor lets students assemble a coherent sequence from music theory, aural skills, music history, conducting, technology, methods and other music coursework.
•Bullet: Students who place beyond the introductory theory, ear-training or class-piano courses replace those hours with additional music study so the minor retains its full credit depth.
Performance
•Bullet: Baker's department supports participation across Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Drum Line, Percussion Ensemble and smaller chamber groups.
•Bullet: The minor can therefore combine classroom musicianship with live performance in vocal, orchestral, wind, jazz or chamber settings rather than functioning only as an academic survey.
