Training
•Bullet: Instrumental students complete applied music, Music Theory I-IV, Sight-Singing/Ear Training I-IV, piano class, and ensemble work.
•Bullet: The current plan routes brass, woodwind, percussion, and string students through instrumental ensembles, with guitar students in guitar or instrumental ensemble.
•Bullet: Students should consult Music advisors so ensemble placement matches their principal instrument.
Transfer Pathway
•Bullet: The Instrumental concentration sits inside ACC's Music Field of Study curriculum, a 31-credit lower-division sequence approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
•Bullet: The AA pathway is designed for transfer toward a bachelor's degree with a major in Music at Texas public colleges and universities.
