Good to Know

Application Logistics

Apply through ACC's online application as a traditional degree-seeking student; there is no separate dance application or audition portal.

Admissions are rolling.

Returning credit students in a credit degree or certificate program do not reapply; they meet with an advisor before registering.

Important Notes

Dance majors should schedule an advising session with the department chair before registering for classes.

Course sequences can be adjusted case by case with department guidance.

Transfer Pathway

This is a transfer pathway degree built to transfer into a four-year program. Confirm which universities it articulates to, and which credits carry over, before you enroll.

What's The Process

Audition Process

No audition, prescreen, or interview is required for admission to the AA Dance degree.

After admission, dance majors should meet with the department chair to plan the recommended course sequence before registration.

Scholarship auditions are separate from admission and only apply if you pursue the freshman departmental scholarship.
