•ACC Dance is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance.
•Students perform, produce, teach, and collaborate with organizations such as the American College Dance Association, the National Dance Education Organization, the Austin Dance Festival, Texas State University, Leap of Joy, and local schools and studios.

ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition, prescreen, or interview is required for admission to the AA Dance degree.
•After admission, dance majors should meet with the department chair to plan the recommended course sequence before registration.
•Scholarship auditions are separate from admission and only apply if you pursue the freshman departmental scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS
•Dance & Drama Freshman Scholarship supports incoming dance or drama majors.
•Dance & Drama Scholarship supports current majors after 12 ACC credits, including two dance or drama courses.
•Boyd Vance Scholarship supports eligible African-American students in the dance or drama program.
FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP
•Requires a minimum 2.5 high school GPA or equivalent.
•Includes an audition and interview with dance or drama faculty.
TIMELINE
•ACC's scholarship general application opens January 15 and closes May 1.
•Award notifications are sent by email in August.
