These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Rolling admission with November 15 priority deadline

Important Notes

The next scholarship audition schedule has not been published

The official theatre scholarship audition portal currently lists no upcoming events

Alternate audition dates may be arranged with three weeks' notice

Scholarship recipients must participate in at least two mainstage productions per year

Performers receiving scholarships must audition for all department productions

Scholarship recipients must complete 16 theatre credits with a B or higher per year and maintain a 2.0 GPA

What's The Process

Audition Process

Optional audition and interview for theatre scholarship consideration

Duration: approximately 15 minutes

Performers

Prepare two monologues (1-2 minutes) of your choosing

Prepare one song (must use a track, no a cappella)

Followed by informal interview with faculty

Designers & Technicians

Bring a portfolio of work (sketches, photographs, prompt books, etc.)
