•Two monologues of differing styles and tone

•Two minutes or less each

Portfolio (optional)

•Alternative to performance audition for design/tech applicants

•Include photos of finished designs for sets, lights, and/or costumes

•Include explanation with show name, design area, and year completed

•Must be offered admission to Augustana University before applying

•Students of any major are eligible for the Pro Dramatis Scholarship

•Complete the admission application and be offered admission

•Complete the Theatre Scholarship application

•Upload performance audition or portfolio in the "Upload Media" section

Audition Expectations

•Submit audition recording or portfolio via the Theatre Scholarship portal

•In-person audition available upon request (contact dan.workman@augie.edu)

Scholarship Info

Pro Dramatis Scholarship

•Up to $3,000 per year for incoming students

•Awarded based on talent audition or portfolio submission

•Students of any major are eligible

•Preferred deadline: March 1

Maintenance Requirements

•Scholars must participate in weekly Company Call (THEA 095 Backstage Practicum)

•Must assist in scene/costume shops 2 hours per week or hold leadership roles
