Repertoire
•Bullet: Brass, winds, strings, and keyboard: Two solo selections, or one solo and one etude of your choice. Prepared selections should be contrasting in styles (lyrical and technical)
•Bullet: Percussion: One solo or etude on marimba or xylophone. Two or 4 mallets. One solo or etude on four timpani. One multiple percussion or snare drum solo or etude.
•Bullet: Voice: Two songs in contrasting styles (one classical art song preferred, the second song may be music theatre, sacred, or a folk song)
•Bullet: Jazz repertoire (horns): Play ballad of choice. Play melody of medium blues and improvise three choruses.
•Bullet: Jazz repertoire (rhythm section, piano): Play melody of medium blues and improvise three choruses. Play ballad of choice.
•Bullet: Jazz repertoire (rhythm section, bass): Play melody of medium blues and improvise three choruses. Walk two choruses of bass line on Bb blues changes.
•Bullet: Jazz repertoire (rhythm section, drums): Play swing groove: slow, medium, and up. Play Latin groove or afro Cuban groove. Play solo over each style listed above.
