Audition Requirements

These requirements are from the Spring 2027 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Dance

Movement Exploration

•Participate in a 1–2 hour group movement exploration workshop

•No prepared set pieces are required

•Demonstrate collaborative, creative, and physical abilities

Additional Materials

Resume (Required)

•List relevant training, professional and amateur experience, community and extracurricular involvement, dance experiences, and accomplishments

Statement (Required)

•Submit a 500-word statement explaining why you want to participate in the programme

Application Logistics

•Submit the University Application for Admission first

•Upload the CV and 500-word written statement within the same application

•The University then sends an invitation to register for the workshop and interview

Transfer Pathway

The programme regulations allow approved prior learning to place a student directly into Stage II or Stage III Dance Studies courses.

Audition Process

•Take part in a group movement workshop and discussion with other applicants and current students

•Complete a short individual interview with Dance Studies teachers about your experience and aspirations

•Attend one audition workshop

Audition Expectations

•Virtual individual auditions are available on weekdays between 9am and 3pm

•The programme contacts applicants to arrange a virtual audition after the application is submitted
