PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•Intensive four-year pre-professional degree in acting, dancing, and singing

•Senior year professional showcase at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta
TRAINING
•All acting faculty are professional actors with years of industry experience and terminal degrees
•Department typically hosts several professional guest artists every year for workshops and performances
•Recent teaching artists include Christine Ebersole (SNL, Tony Award for Grey Gardens), Susan Blackwell, Michael O'Neill (West Wing, Grey's Anatomy), Judith Blazer (Titanic, Sweeney Todd), and Jonathan Freeman (Jafar in Aladdin, Tony nomination for She Loves Me)

•Department productions registered with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
•Exceptional students from every show nominated for the Kennedy Center's prestigious Irene Ryan Award
•Department encourages all performance students to audition for professional summer theatre work through SETC (Southeastern Theatre Conference)
