What's The Process

Audition Process

Students are not required to audition to declare the BA Theatre major

Scholarship applicants meet faculty and current students, discuss financial aid, and tour campus and theatre facilities

Attending in-person auditions/interviews is not mandatory; virtual submissions are used for students who cannot attend

Audition Expectations

BA Theatre scholarship applicants interview with selected faculty

Applicants may present written or portfolio work of their choice

Students interested primarily in performance may prepare an audition

One-year departmental scholarship awards are available to outstanding students who participate in Auburn's competitive theatre scholarship process

Presentation Format

BA Theatre applicants interview with selected faculty and may present written or portfolio work of their choice

Eligibility

Must intend to major in Theatre and officially declare the major in the College of Liberal Arts to receive departmental scholarship awards
