Fees

Recorded audition fee: 65 USD (live on-campus auditions have no audition fee)

Placement

Admitted students take music theory and aural-skills placement exams at orientation — for course placement only, not admission

What's The Process

Audition Process

Music therapy applicants must perform an audition on their primary instrument or voice to be considered for admission

Live, on-campus auditions are strongly recommended and receive scholarship preference; a recorded audition due February 1 is available

Interview

Interview with the music therapy faculty to establish your potential as a therapist

Recorded-audition applicants complete a virtual interview on February 13, 2027

Eligibility

All music majors are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships

Live auditions receive scholarship preference over recorded auditions

Undergraduate students may be considered for scholarship for up to eight semesters
