Audition Process
•Bullet: Singing: perform one musical theatre song (90-second cut)
•Bullet: Dance: group jazz class
•Bullet: Candidates invited to Round 2 stay for the afternoon session
•Bullet: Singing: perform a legit ballad, possible reprise of Round 1 song, vocal exercises
•Bullet: Acting: present two prepared monologues
•Bullet: Possible interview with the Director of the School of Musical Theatre
•Bullet: Recalls beyond the same-day rounds are scheduled as necessary
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Both rounds take place on the same day at ArtsEd in Chiswick (or regional audition locations)
•Bullet: Candidates split into two groups; one sings first, one dances first, then groups swap
•Bullet: Sign-in at 9:30am (9:00am during half term)
•Bullet: Begins with greeting from the Director and a vocal warm-up
•Bullet: Only the candidate is permitted inside on audition days
•Bullet: ArtsEd is a nut-free environment
