Audition Requirements
Songs
TWO CONTRASTING SONGS, 60-90 sec each
•One ballad and one uptempo
•Must sing to live or recorded accompaniment — no a cappella
•Film in ¾ shot (top of head to knees visible)
FILMING
•Each song filmed and uploaded as a separate file
•90-second maximum per file (strictly enforced)
Monologues
CHOOSE OPTION A OR OPTION B
OPTION A — ONE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE, 60-90 sec
•From a published play (written 20th century–present)
•Film in close-up shot (top of head to chest visible)
OPTION B — TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES, 60-90 sec each
•One contemporary (written after 1900)
-Film in close-up shot (top of head to chest visible)
•One classical (written pre-1900)
-Film in full-body shot (top of head to feet visible)
-Only perform Shakespeare if you feel comfortable doing so
FILMING
•Each piece must be filmed and uploaded as a separate file
•90-second maximum per file (strictly enforced)

SLATE
•Slate at the beginning of each piece (no separate slate video)
•For monologues: share your name, title of the play, and the playwright

ADMISSIONS
•Rolling acceptance — results within approximately 4 weeks of submission
•Digital submission final deadline: June 1, 2026

AUDITION FORMAT
•Choose either in-person or digital audition — both carry equal weight
•Digital submissions reviewed and considered in lieu of in-person audition
CALLBACK
•After faculty review, you will receive audition results via email OR be invited to a callback interview
•Callback may include requests for additional material or adjustments
