•Two Contrasting PIECES; at least one must be a hymn or sacred song

•Vocalists: fully memorize both pieces; an accompanist will be provided

•Instrumentalists (piano or guitar): perform two contrasting pieces on your primary instrument and know the scales and arpeggios appropriate for your instrument

Sight-Reading

•Be prepared to sight read and sight sing simple rhythms and melodies

Vocal Assessment

•Vocalists complete a test of vocal range, vocal quality, and tonal memory

Additional Materials

Letters of Recommendation

•Required: one printed letter from a music teacher or worship leader familiar with your skills

Essay

•Required; 500 words maximum

•Why you want to attend Anderson University and SCSA

•What you can contribute to the music department based on your skills and qualities
