Audition Requirements

These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Songs

Requirements

Two 16-measure selections from musical theatre repertoire: one ballad and one up-tempo

Bring sheet music with cuts clearly marked

An accompanist is normally provided; bring an MP3 accompaniment backup

Monologues

Requirements

One one-minute memorized monologue from a published play

Dance

Requirements

Participate in a dance call for class placement purposes

The dance call does not affect audition results

Additional Materials

Letter of Recommendation (Required)

One printed letter from a theatre or dance director familiar with your work

Resume (Required)

Printed theatrical resume listing theatre or dance experience

Headshot (Required)

Printed current 8x10 headshot
