TWO CONTRASTING SONGS, 16-32 measures each
•Select one of the two options below:
OPTION A
•One song written before 1970 (musical theater, Golden Age, pop, folk, rock, country, etc.)
•One song written after 1970 in a contrasting style
OPTION B
•One musical theater song from any time period
•One song of your choice in any style (pop, hip-hop, folk, rock, country, etc.) that contrasts the first selection
Monologues
ONE MONOLOGUE
•From a published play or written by a professional writer
•A professional writer is someone whose plays have been produced, but may not have been professionally published
Dance
NO DANCE AUDITION REQUIRED
•On-campus auditions include a dance placement class
•Dance placement class is for class-level assessment, not admission
