PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Performance is one of six specializations inside AU's BA Theatre major
•Core acting sequence includes Fundamentals of Acting, The Physical Actor, Scene Study, and Advanced Acting
•The liberal arts BA keeps room for double majors while still requiring production participation and a senior capstone
•The department produces five mainstage theatre shows each year plus New Works opportunities
•Students train with working theatre faculty and regularly interact with guest artists in classes, productions, and workshops
•Open casting and production culture create frequent ways to perform alongside peers from across campus
