Training
•Required core: Introduction to the Theatre (TA 300), Theory and Techniques of Acting I (TA 350)
•Broad TAP (Theatre Arts Performance) elective pool covering Modern, Classical, Musical, Children's, and Repertory/Touring rehearsal and production tracks
•List A electives from Acting II, Stagecraft, Stage Lighting, Costume Construction, and Stage Make-up
•Students work with an ARC counselor to tailor coursework to their target CSU campus
Degree Flexibility
•Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) — guarantees priority admission with junior status to the California State University system upon completion of 60 CSU-transferable units with minimum 2.0 GPA
•Completes Cal-GETC (California General Education Transfer Curriculum) pattern alongside 18-unit major
•Designed for students planning to complete a baccalaureate theatre program at a four-year institution
