Talent / Creative Promise Award
•Optional theatre award review is separate from admission; applicants must submit a complete Albright admission application before sending theatre materials
•Talent Awards are $2,000 per year, and students may receive up to two awards
Acting Review
•Submit an audition video or attend the on-campus audition with two prepared monologues from published plays
•Each monologue should be 60 seconds or less
•Use age-appropriate material and do not submit musical theatre selections
•Video links may be submitted via YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Video
Design / Production / Playwriting Review
•Design/Production applicants submit an online portfolio showing process/product materials such as photos, videos, prompt books, sketches, schedules, or production paperwork
•Playwright applicants submit approximately 10 pages of theatrical writing in PDF form with the applicant's full name on each page
Personal Statement
•All theatre award applicants submit either a two-page written statement PDF or a 3-5 minute video statement
•Prompts: meaningful theatrical experience, why Albright, and learning objectives for theatre training
Renewal
•Award recipients must stay active in theatre, including at least one theatre course each year and significant participation in a mainstage production
