Talent Award
•Bullet: Optional theatre award review is separate from admission; applicants must submit a complete Albright admission application before sending theatre materials
•Bullet: Talent Awards are $2,000 per year, and students may receive up to two awards
Acting Review
•Bullet: Actors submit an audition video containing two prepared monologues from published plays
•Bullet: Each monologue should be 60 seconds or less
•Bullet: Use age-appropriate material and do not submit musical theatre selections
Design / Production / Playwriting Review
•Bullet: Costume Design & Technology applicants submit either 6 costume design sketches or 3-5 high-resolution garment images as PDFs or JPEGs in a shareable folder
•Bullet: Design/Production applicants submit an online portfolio showing process/product materials such as photos, videos, prompt books, sketches, schedules, or production paperwork
•Bullet: Playwright applicants submit approximately 10 pages of theatrical writing in PDF form with the applicant's full name on each page
Personal Statement
•Bullet: All theatre award applicants submit either a two-page written statement PDF or a 3-5 minute video statement
•Bullet: Prompts: meaningful theatrical experience, why Albright, and learning objectives for theatre training
Renewal
•Bullet: Award recipients must enroll in at least one Theatre course each year and participate significantly in a mainstage Domino Players production
•Bullet: Costume Design & Technology recipients must take at least one costume construction/design-related theatre course each year and complete annual THR201 production participation in costumes
