•Core study covers acting, directing, design, stagecraft, dramatic analysis, and theatre history
•Theatre majors contribute to all four department productions each academic year in performance, design, stage management, crew, or production roles
•The senior capstone is a major creative contribution to a departmental production, supported by a written narrative of the creative process
Production Experience
•The department functions as a working theatre company and typically stages four productions per year
•Students can work onstage and backstage across casting, design, stage management, construction, run crew, paint, props, marketing, and public relations
Study Abroad
•The New York Arts Program offers a semester in New York City with internships, seminars, tutorials, and independent study
