Training
•Bullet: UAF's Film Minor requires a minimum of 15 credits built on three required courses totaling 9 credits — Cinematic Previsualization and Preproduction, Lights, Camera, Audio!, and Film Set Production I — covering pre-production planning, technical audio-visual work, and on-set execution
•Bullet: The remaining 6 credits come from department-approved FLPA electives, letting students extend the minor toward screenwriting, editing, or additional production coursework
Location
•Bullet: The minor sits inside UAF's Department of Theatre and Film alongside the BA Film and Performing Arts major, giving minors access to the same production faculty, soundstage, and equipment used by majors
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Every course counted toward the minor requires a grade of C- or better
