Audition Process
•An entrance audition is required for admission to the Department of Music
•Auditions are individualized and tailored to each prospective student
•Prepare music in which you feel comfortable that showcases your abilities and interests
•Contact your area faculty to discuss repertoire and scheduling:
-Brass, Guitar, Strings: Dr. James M. Lind (jlind@adams.edu)
-Woodwinds: Dr. Brooke Miller (bmiller@adams.edu)
-Percussion: Dr. Melinda Leoce (mleoce@adams.edu)
Scheduling
•Complete the Music Scholarship Application form and faculty will personally contact you to set up your audition
•You may also arrange an audition through the Music Student for a Day program
•Recorded auditions can be arranged with area faculty when an on-campus visit is not possible
