Prescreen Requirements
Monologues
TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES, 60 sec each
•One comedic and one dramatic
•From a play published since 1950
•Present in your own voice, true to a character about your age
•Avoid accents or character portrayals that are not true to you
OPTIONAL SONG (if voice is a significant skill)
•16-32 bars (verse and chorus) of a Broadway musical piece
•Live accompanist much preferred
•Slate the title of your song
OPTIONAL DANCE DEMO (if dance is a strength)
•Ballet-jazz combination and/or tap piece
•Can be clips from a show or performed specifically for the video
•With or without music (2 min max)
Wildcard / Special Skill
WILD CARD VIDEO
•Up to 60 seconds — can be anything: special skill, passionate speech, instrument, etc.
•Discuss your answers to the two short-answer questions from registration
•Additional suggestions: other tracks of interest, why Christian education matters, career goals (approx. 2 min)

RESUME
•One-page resume of theatre experience
REFERENCES
•Two references with name and email (prompted to upload recommendation letters)
PORTFOLIO (optional, can upload digitally)
•Photos, press articles, documentation of theatre work
•May upload as many files as desired
Callback Requirements
Monologues
TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES, 60 sec each
•You may only be asked to present one, but have two ready

•Sent via email a few days before audition
•Review thoroughly — do not read off the page
•Familiarize yourself with the side and play for coaching time
PORTFOLIO (optional)
•Drawings, photos, press articles demonstrating your work
•Be prepared to discuss why you want to teach theatre and your goals

•Screening review — email within three weeks with invitation status
LIVE AUDITION
•By invitation only after prescreen review
•Perform two contrasting monologues (60 sec each)
•Cold reading from scene side sent before audition
•Interview discussing why you want to teach theatre, goals, and experience (~15 min total)
